Garry started exploring carving with a chainsaw in 2007. He sold his first carving! Having found he had the right mixture of skills and interests, a little bit of art background and a good bit of experience with the chainsaw, this new hobby developed into an obsession.

In 2010 things got serious as Garry gave up the day job and went full time.

Working on his repertoire of carvings and developing skills became more important than ever and he started to attract bigger and better commissions, doing more shows, competitions and events.

Garry now carves a wide array of stock carvings as well as unique commissions from his home and workshop at Drummuir, Keith
